For this project we were introduced to Appfurnace which essentially is an online app builder with all the basic functions and allows you to utilise such this as text, buttons, imagaes and even animation. Upon spending a while with this we were asked to make start thinking of ideas for a simple app ranging from anything like a map or guide to a small game. I straight away knew that I wanted to create something that I would use myself.
Mobile Development 1
1) The first stage to any project, is design. I find that the best way to so this is by drawing down ANY ideas that I may have. As a result after a few skethec came up with a good basic layout of the app and what sort of content it should contain.

2) Once I had established this I was able to go into more detail as to what the actual content would be and in this case as it was a drinking game I wanted to add a few of the most popular games I could think of. After writing a very detailed rule guide and how I would implement them into my app, I was ready to actually design my app

3) However, I did want to ensure that this drinking app wasn't simply a catalyst of this modern day binge culture, so I was adamant that I wanted to have age restrictions or at least warnings if age restrictions were not possible or bypassed.
Almost instantaneously I decided to make a drinking game app, which after much careful deliberation I decided to call 'DRANK'

The reason being that I wanted to make something that not only would I use, but also I could relate to other people and my target audience.

This being students or younger people that stereotypically like to drink more and would therefore more like to have need for a drinking game app. This app is of course not gender specific.

HOWEVER as stated I was very passionate about having an age restriction on the app as I would not want to be reason someone is encouraged to drink underage.
